Our story

At VONICAL, we learn by doing. We don’t just solve a problem, we work hard to define what the problem is.

We create value through thoughtful experience design (intersecting people, technology and business). Our objective is to develop empathy for the customers we design for, uncover real human needs they want to address. We then iterate to develop an unexpected range of possible solutions, and create prototypes to take back out into the field and test with real people. Experience is measured by iteration, our talented team will run through as many cycles as we possibly can on any project we undertake. Each cycle brings stronger insights and more unexpected solutions and ultimately, better outcomes.

We strategically define goals, translate insight, and work tremendously hard to build great experience-centric products and services.

About our company name?

VONICAL (‘von•i•cal’), is a swirling flow caused by a concentric shaped structure.
In interaction design, optimal experiences can trigger the psychological state called Flow (aka “being in zone”).
Dr. M. Csikszentmihalyi, the author of “Flow”, coined the phrase. Watch his Ted Talk on Flow.
